Pocket money

Make pocket money easier to talk about

Pocket money is easier to manage when the numbers are written down and everyone knows what they mean. Zamlora Pro adds records for pocket money, paid chores, household expenses and savings goals. You can connect a payment decision to the work behind it, keep a clearer history of family money activity and help a child see progress towards something they want. Zamlora records amounts; it does not move money between bank accounts.

01

Connect paid chores to a record

When your household chooses to pay for a chore, Pro can track that activity alongside the chore. It helps you discuss what was earned and what still needs to be marked as paid without treating every task as a transaction.

02

Give savings a destination

Savings goals help turn an abstract balance into something a child can understand. A goal makes it easier to discuss progress, priorities and the choice to save for later rather than spend now.

03

See household spending

Pro also records household expenses. Keeping those amounts with the rest of the family's planning tools can make day-to-day money conversations more grounded and easier to revisit.

MAKE IT PART OF YOUR ROUTINE

A useful place to start.

01

Agree on your household approach

Decide which chores, if any, have a money amount and what pocket money means in your home. The app can hold the record, while the family sets the rules.

02

Record the activity

Use Pro to record pocket money, paid chores and expenses as they happen. Review the amounts together so a child can understand why a balance changed.

03

Work towards a goal

Set a savings target and track progress over time. Keep any actual transfer or cash payment in your usual banking or family process; the app records it rather than sending funds.
